Bethel School Budget Narrowly Passes
|
|
The Bethel School budget was approved by voters by a narrow margin of 6 votes. Out of 206 ballots cast, 106 voted for the budget, with 100 voting against.

Bethel Town Hall
|
|
On May 9, 2005 the Bethel Board of Selectmen decided the Bethel Town Hall will be restored as a community center, and work on the foundation will begin this June. A questionnaire will be distributed by the Bethel Planning Commission asking for opinions on how Bethel should proceed in terms of development and, more specifically, what would the Bethel townspeople like to see in a community center. Your ideas are important, and we look forward to hearing from you. In addition, anyone interested in serving on the Bethel Town Hall Committee should contact the select board.
