Greetings,

Given the extreme lack of traffic on this blog, I am shutting it down. Instead, I suggest everyone post any issues and concerns for discussion over at the new forums which I have set up at http://bethelvt.com/forum. The forums are open to anyone to start new discussions, and they do not need to be limited to school issues. Registration is required, but the process is simple and, again, open to anyone. Anyone can start a new discussion there, and I hope the school board will take the opportunity to solicit community feedback there. Regardless, I hope the rest of the community will feel free to use this as a platform for discussion.

With a budget into the millions of dollars and taxpayers unsure of its purpose, this subject is sure to get some comments and questions.

There exist many misconceptions about special ed. Please use this blog to ask any questions about special ed programs including our Pittsfield Academy, costs, eligibility, etc.

This is our first entry in our weblog. We hope it will be useful and informative for everyone in the community. Depending on the question, one or several board memebers may respond to issues as they are brought up here.
